Subject:The Collapse of Indonesian Insurance State Enterprice.

Dear Public, domestc and Internasional Journalist, foreign Investors and client.
I, Prof. Otto Cornelis Kaligis, having my temporary legal domiclie in Penintentiary Sukamiskin. Bandung, would like herewitah to share may experience regarding the life of business Insurance in Indonesia, as followings:
1. Indonesia with circa 200 millionrs population is actually a very potential market for insurance”s Business. Insurance is similiar to Trust.
2. But unfortunately during the last period our Public Attorney is very busy to disclose corruption of Indonesian Insurance State enterprice. The victims are of course the customers.
3. As a lawyer of about 50 years experience I have client from the poor, conglomeraes, foreigen investors, even Mr. President and his family.
4. Because I am a fighter against the Comission Corruption Eradication (KPK), by publishing books regarding persons in KPK who are involved as corruptor, the KPK sent me to prison without any evidences. I am charged with bribery to Judge, the fact which I do not know, since I am not the accused who red handed catch. During my detention The KPK freezed my account. But since the Judges found no supporting evidence of money laundring to keep the freeizing, finally the court revoke my freezing. Therfore I remove afterwards my saving account from Singapore to some of domestic Indonesian Bank , among other to Bank Tabungan Negara (Saving State Bank).
5. During my stay at Penintentiary, an agent of BTN came to visit me, informed me of a very interesting product from Jiwasraya Insurance State Enterprice, under the name of : “Protection Plan” with a little high interest, . Feeling secured by the name of “Protection Plan” I decided to accept the proposel of the agent.
6. Moreover since that Protection Plan, derived from the State Enterprice , both Bank and Me have no. suspicious on that product. I finally signed the Insurance agreement between me and Jiwasraya with the period of only one year. It occured in the year 2018. 7. Later I read from news papers and media, Jiwas Raya failed to pay his obligation due to corruption done by the board of Directors. The Public Prosecutors detained all of them, conviscated their properties. One of the victim is me.
8. Before proceeding my case to court, I tried to settle out of court. Even I tried to involve their Minister Mr. Erck Thohir. All my effort failed with no result.
9. As an Internasional Lawyer, I know that Insurance Companies all over the world make good business because they success to create trust to their customer Take it for example the insurance Company in Lichtenstein, a state of about 20 thousands inhabitan, or Guernsey in Channel Island of 50 thousand .
10. I see that Insurance State Enterprice in Indonesia, are not more than a cheater Company. As a victim I proceed my claim to the court. For hearing proceeding, several times the judge on duty, called Mr. Minister Erick Thorhir who is responsible for Jiwas Raya as state Company, . Mr. Erick Thohir denied the summon of the Judge. Even at the final decision, the representative of the Minister was absent. Therefore the judgement was declared by the judge under Court decision number 219/2021/PN. Jkt.Pst declared on July 8, 2021, without the present of the Minister. Jiwas Raya is declared default and the instruction is to pay me back the sum of money about 2 miliions dollar America, additional interest one percent per month.
11. By the matter of fact stating above, I would like to convey to all of you, Never trust the Insurance State Enterprice in Indonesia. Because even the court order, shall be denied by them. Therefore lot of my business client, prefer to use the service of Singapore Insurance Company or other Internasional Insurance, because Indonesia Insurance State Enterprice are not trustable.
